It's official: we're back!
We have reviewed the decision we made in 2004. During the TODAY'S OVERDOSE(with all WB members except Marcus) shows last summer we played a few Wolfpack songs and that reminded us how much we missed this. We actually started planning that Last Show we promised in 2004, but we soon found ourselves talking about getting together again for real. So, just to end all possible gossip: this is not a temporary reunion, we have not been offered any crazy amount of money or any "too good to turn down" offers, nothing like that. We just missed it and we will be doing this properly.
There were many factors that brought us to the point were Wolfbrigade wasn't fun anymore back in 2004. One, and the most obvious factor, was that we had grown tired of not working as a full band and we were striving in different directions. We didn't know what we wanted with the band anymore. Our bass player Marcus didn't play on the last 2 and a half records due to lack of time and interest, he had a family to take care of. We more or less had a band unit consisting of Micke, Jocke, Erik and Dadde and then we had Marcus as a live session bass player. And even if we were, and ARE good friends all of us, it didn't work the way we wanted. The decision to quit WB then was mutual. We even promised that we would do a last show after the US shows in 2004. But time passed and nothing happened. It came to the point were we pretty much had scraped the whole thing....
Since the breakup in 2004, four of us have continued playing in Today's Overdose with our friend Johan on bass, playing more rock'n'roll inspired hardcore, and we have been jamming on old WB stuff sometimes. We decided to play a few old gems last summer and that gave us appetite for more. But since Marcus have stopped playing music we choose to do it a bit different this time. The result is that Johan(Today's Overdose) is the new bass player of Wolfbrigade. Welcome to the brigade!
What will happen to Today's Overdose then? We will continue for sure. But we are taking a break to do a few things with WB now.
There are songs for a 12", but that will have to wait for now.
We have been writing new songs the last couple of months. And we will enter SUNLIGHT studios with Tomas Skogsberg in February to record them. More information will fallow as soon as we know more. Just to let you know: The songs so far sound like a mix between the "Allday Hell" era and "Lychantro Punk". We're really excited about recording again!
We will be playing our first shows in March so keep your eyes and ears open. We can't fucking wait.

| hab mit denen jetzt auch mal gemailt, das ich da auf jedenfall interesse hab wegen nem konzert wenn die auf tour kommen... . bin mal gespannt ob da was geht. wäre n sehr fettes teil... |

seh ich auch so, das mit euch als support würde eh klar gehen. ich hoff nur das da was geht... |
